Terms of Service
Last updated: April 3, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Crumera, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Crumera is a personal finance tracking application that allows you to record transactions, manage accounts, set budgets, and view spending analytics. All financial data is entered manually by you.
Crumera is not a financial advisor, bank, or financial institution. The service does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or tax guidance. Any financial decisions you make are solely your responsibility.
3. User Accounts
To use Crumera, you must create an account. By creating an account, you represent that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- The information you provide is accurate
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Crumera offers an optional paid subscription, "Crumera Premium," which unlocks additional features. A free version with limited functionality is available without payment.
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account, not directly by Crumera. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:
- Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region. We may change subscription prices from time to time; any price change will apply only to future billing periods and will be communicated as required by the App Store.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's policies. Crumera does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds on Apple's behalf. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Use automated means to access the service without permission
6. Your Data
The financial data you enter into Crumera belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your data. For details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
Crumera is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be available at all times or without interruption
- The service will be free of errors or bugs
- Data entered into the service will be preserved indefinitely
Crumera does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. You should not rely on the service as a substitute for professional financial counsel.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crumera and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or loss of profits.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Crumera at any time, with or without cause.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. When you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day cooling-off period. During this period, logging back in automatically cancels the deletion and restores your account.
After the 30-day cooling-off period, all your data — including your profile, accounts, transactions, cards, budgets, and custom categories — is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Intellectual Property
Crumera, including its name, logo, design, user interface, and all related content and software, is the property of Crumera and its developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Crumera for your personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms. This license does not grant you any ownership rights.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the service, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
The financial data you enter into Crumera remains yours, as described in the "Your Data" section. This section concerns the application and service themselves, not the data you create.
